Iscaguard BSB is a blend of organic acids in benzyl alcohol. It is suitable for preservation of cosmetic formulations with acidic pH levels, and offers protection against bacteria, yeasts, and moulds. The presence of benzyl alcohol in the preservative also provides headspace protection. Iscaguard BSB is accepted for use with most Eco labels, and can be added to both leave-on and rinse-off products.
