Iscaguard BOA is a blend of organic acids in benzyl alcohol. It is suitable for formulations with acidic pH, offering protection against bacteria, yeasts, and moulds. Iscaguard BOA is permitted for use with most Eco labels, and can be used for both leave-on and rinse-off products. It also has the added benefit of headspace protection due to the presence of the benzyl alcohol.
